So after tons of searching and trying out cookie recipes over the last several several months, I finally found one that I am in love with that taste just AMAZING!! Wanted to share... it's pretty simple :)

- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 3 cups flour

- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 (12 ounce) package chocolate chips
- Cream shortening, butter, and sugars in large mixing bowl; blend in eggs and vanilla.
- Combine dry ingredients and add to butter mixture.
- Mix until well blended.
- Stir in chocolate chips.
- Drop by rounded teaspoon onto ungreased baking sheets.
- Bake at 375° for 7-10 minutes until golden brown.
- If you like chewy cookies, adjust the baking time accordingly.
**I found this recipe at: http://www.recipezaar.com/. It's where I get most of my recipes. Check it out if you haven't already. You'll love them!**
Also, we are still on a whole foods diet (except for yesterday when I taste tested everything I baked about 12 times) so I didn't keep these for us *sigh* though they were absolutely delicious!
Mmmmmm, sounds good! I need to make some desserts for company that's coming over tomorrow, and I think I'll give these a try. :)
