hello dollies

This is something you MUST make. (I know one friend who will :) ). I made them yesterday and put one in each goody bag I made for my friends and ministry peeps for Christmas gifts. This may just be the easiest sweet treat you ever make! Please please try them and tell me what you think!

Hello Dollies:

1 stick butter (or 1/2 cup)
1 cup graham cracker crumbs
1/2 - 1 can Angel Flake coconut flakes
1 (6-oz.) pkg milk chocolate chips
1 heaping cup pecans, chopped
1 can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk

Melt butter and pour in bottom of 8x11 OR 9x13 baking dish. Layer remaining ingredients in order. DO NOT STIR!! Bake at 325 for 30 minutes.

That's it! Easy huh? A few notes from me, though. First, I always just use enough graham cracker to soak up the butter. I also sometimes have a big bag of coconut on hand, so I just use enough to make a thin layer. I definitely use a little more chips, like about 9oz worth (just not an entire 12oz bag, although you could). And I get those pecans that come in the 1/2 cup little baggies in the baking aisle and use two of them. Lastly, I don't bake mine that long, I find the edges too hard if I do. I think I go between 23-25 minutes. Just test it out, see what you like.

I think I could have just told you to just adjust everything to your taste-huh? Oh well, I like to over complicate things I guess :)

Enjoy the warmy, gooey, sweety, goodness of all the holiday treats you have this year :)
