Friday's Top Ten

When I actually remember to do this, I never really have a plan. I did in the beginning. I would write down ideas because ideas actually came to me. Not now, however. I just make stuff up as I go along. But that's pretty much my life. I'm kind of a random person who embraces change. (Even when it's hard, like now).

1. I haven't talked much about this pregnancy. I've mentioned it a few times here and there, but not just chatted with you about it like I did with number 4. I have so many mixed emotions about it. I'm happy and can't wait to hold my newborn. But in the meantime, pregnancy is draining me. I'm 16 weeks 1 day. We'll probably go in few weeks to find out the sex. Any bets? Another boy? or maybe a girl after all? I have no instinctual feelings this time. At first, I seriously, seriously thought it was twins. Like I flipped out.

2. I look more like 26 weeks instead of 16. Trust me, but don't trust this photo. Also, I don't know what's up with my hand. I wasn't even holding the remote. And also, yes, I got all dressed up to go see the thyroid doctor because I'm usually in pj pants and big loungy shirts.

3. Here's a photo I left out of my morning post, but decided it was, in fact, blog worthy after all. He plops his booty right there anytime I'm in the floor, like after diaper changes. And please ignore what looks like a misshapen belly, part of that is the pull on my shirt. And okay, part of it is the squishy fat over a growing uterus.

4. He runs now. It's funny. He falls a lot. Fits of uncontrollable laughter + toddler running = hilarious near face planting. I shouldn't laugh, but it really is hysterical.

 5. My favorite place on the couch. I plant it here a little too often. If I had a laptop, I might never move from there. Alright, I'm probably exaggerating a little. But probably not.

 6. This boy here has been undeniably cranky. Ah geez, I just want him to cheer back up. Fuss and whine, whine and fuss. That's how my day looks with this one.

7. Disposable diapers are expensive, especially when certain ones cause rashes and those happen to be the cheapest ones. And when the baby has a blow out every single time (I'm talking at least 5 or 6 a day [he's regular]) that requires a clothing change, the laundry piles up. So I'm waiting patiently today for a top loader to be delivered today. I hate my front loader and regret that purchase so much. It is killer on my diapers. No matter what I try, I can't get them clean. The top loader is still an HE, but I'm thinking it will clean my diapers better than the FL. I'm so ready to be back in cloth. So ready.

8. Jonyn turns three in two months. The older two were potty trained right about this time. He hasn't even started. And shows no interest. As long as it's done by June, I don't even care so much right now. I dread the day we have to start, it's so much work. Who knew parenting required time and work and effort!

9. I crave Cuties. I just can't get enough of the little Clementines. I probably have between 6 and 8 a day. It's nuts, but they're so delicious and sweet. Yesterday, Dad gave the boys the last three before I woke up. Talk about one sad faced Momma.

10. We're back on a homeschooling routine. Finally. I'm so glad.

Happy weekend, homies. So glad you stopped by.

  3. I'm getting a girl feeling for you! I craved oranges and orange juice like crazy with Milee. It was so bad that I would see it in the grocery store and HAD to buy a single and drink it RIGHT THEN!!! I must of ate 30-40 oranges a week! Love the post and super cute, stylish belly :)
