prettiness where I grew up

I'm slowly learning the art of macro photography. It's not the easiest thing ever, but it's certainly fun learning. Beauty is everywhere where I grew up in OK. I went out kind of late to shoot these, but I have four kids, so that's just when time allowed. But anyways, I just wanted to share these today.

Someday I hope to own my own little slice of heaven. God leads us where he wants us, and we follow, and we soak it all up and take it all in. But he also knows the desires of my heart, and I cling to that in hopes that the day will come where he leads us somewhere greener, hillier, tree-ier, and prettier. For now, I take in every piece of beauty when we visit home.

  3. Beautiful! I love the 4th to the last picture. Funny how I find dandelions so annoying when I'm weeding, but you made them look beautiful. lol
