simple moments :: week 14

hello friends. i am sorry i missed my post last week and that i'm just getting this out right now. i am also sad about not getting my top ten done for today. maybe tomorrow?

baby greyson hasn't really been letting me sleep a bunch at night. last night the buffet was open all night. he pretty much nursed around the clock. and it seems like he knows, every single night, the second i fall asleep. because that's when he wakes from his bed and lets me know he's awake.

plus, some issues are weighing on my heart. i think i know the cause of what's going on, but changing it seems hard. yes, i know that's vague. but it is what it is.

nonetheless, this week, my older boys had a sweet moment. and they have moments like this often. i just don't document them as much as i should.

a lot of times when i send them to read their history, they mess around and goof off so much that they can't answer the follow up questions.

but. i love those times, when they sit and read, discuss what they're reading, take turns reading. it's nice. it's a sweet moment of brothers actually getting along, being kind, showing love.

those moments can seem scarce, but they do happen.

homeschooling is tough stuff at times. but these little moments. oh my heart, be still.

simple moments :: previous weeks

simple moments is about finding the small things that make up our everyday, things we want to remember and be thankful for. it's the little bits of our lives that might not be remembered when we are gray and old. so we document it, on paper, with a photo, through a blog. join me?

  1. Beautiful moment. Now that my kids are older (and my autism-spectrum kiddo doing fairly well) I'm noticing these types of lovely sibling moments once in awhile too. They are the kind of moment that just stops you. <3

I am so happy you are here. Your words make my heart so happy.
